COHSMA with the Village of Castleton-on-Hudson, is hosting a Flagpole Dedication Ceremony to coincide with Flag Day. Funds were donated by citizens and businesses to purchase and install a nautical flagpole designed to be a symbol of welcome by road, river and rail. After remarks from elected officials, we will raise the flag as a 94-year old WWII veteran leads attendees in singing “God Bless America.”

A SYMBOL OF WELCOME BY ROAD, RIVER AND RAIL.

Association Vice President Suzanne Donnelly

Before and after the program, music will be performed by a live band the Macerators. Patriotic cupcakes will be shared with guests.

Donors contributed $2,000 toward this effort, proving that people really care about the Village and our Main Street. Together we can do many good things in the future!

The event also coincides with the Farmers and Artisans Market and 2nd Friday on Main. “Meet Me on Main” Friday, June 14 at 5:00!
